Passports must be valid for 6 months and have two blank pages for the visa. A yellow Fever vaccination and certificate is a compulsory requirement for entry into Sierra Leone. There is virtually no tourist infrastructure in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone. Only few hotels of Western standard exist, hotels with air-condition or hot water are rare. Roads are often in bad condition and roads and bridges may become impassable after heavy rain. The itinerary may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond the control of Vero Tours. There are a couple of long days of travelling, but it is necessary so that all the sites can be seen in good time. Hiking in the Fouta Djalon Highlands requires a reasonable level of fitness. You should tolerate heat very well and be sure-footed. The hiking tours are subject to change due to weather conditions. Our trip requires a spirit of adventure and a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
